With flexible seating arrangements, modern facilities and attentive service, the Planetarium Ballroom, Lobby Hall and Sunset Hall provide suitable settings for events of different sizes and styles.
Planetarium Ballroom
The Planetarium Ballroom is the hotel’s largest event venue and is ideal for conferences, seminars, workshops, corporate functions, weddings, gala dinners and private celebrations. The hall can accommodate up to 200 guests in theatre-style seating, 180 guests in cluster seating, 100 guests in classroom style, 80 guests in boardroom style and 60 guests in a U-shaped arrangement.
For gala dinners, receptions and special events, the venue can host approximately 220 to 250 guests, depending on the selected layout and event requirements. Its spacious interior can be customised with different seating plans, stage arrangements, decorations and dining setups.
Conference facilities may include a screen, sound system, FM microphone, clip-on microphone, whiteboard, flip chart, marker pens, notepads, pencils, bottled water and mints. Projector facilities and DJ services can also be arranged for an additional charge.
Lobby Hall
The Lobby Hall provides a welcoming and flexible space for smaller events, casual meetings, networking sessions and private gatherings. Its comfortable atmosphere makes it suitable for welcome receptions, business discussions, group briefings, coffee breaks and informal celebrations.
Located within easy access of the hotel’s main facilities, the hall can also be used as an additional event area alongside the Planetarium Ballroom or Sunset Hall. The layout can be arranged according to the nature of the occasion, allowing organisers to create a convenient and personalised setup.
Sunset Hall
Sunset Hall is a comfortable meeting and event space offering a relaxed atmosphere for smaller corporate and social functions. It can accommodate up to 40 guests in theatre style, 30 guests in cluster seating and 20 guests in a U-shaped arrangement.
The hall is ideal for training programmes, presentations, workshops, board meetings, interviews, private dining and intimate celebrations. Its flexible design allows the seating arrangement to be adjusted according to the event’s purpose and number of guests.
Mirage Colombo also offers full-day and half-day conference packages with tea, coffee, snacks and lunch. Customised menus and event arrangements can be prepared to suit individual requirements, making each occasion well organised, comfortable and memorable.
